Immigration*Thomas Farmer immigrated on 8 June 1829 to Fremantle, Western AustraliaG, on the ship Sulphur.. 
Note*Anne Evans was christened in Parish Newddwy, Dinas, Wales on 20 July 1806. She married Thomas Farmer 21 February 1826 in London, England. He was a soldier in the 63rd Regiment. They sailed with their first two children Thomas and William for the Swan River Colony. Anne was reputed to be in the first boat to be rowed up the Swan River to the future town of Perth on 18 June 1829. Thomas tragically drowned on the Flats in the Swan River on 23 February 1832. He is buried in the East Perth Cemetery. Anne remarried William Watson 24 June 1832 at Bassendean. She was expecting Joseph at that time, so when he was born he was given the surname of Watson. Anne had three more children to William Watson. William Watson died at Perth May 1843. Anne's 3rd Marriage to Thomas Walker ( a widower with five children) on 12 November 1843 - he died 4 months later. Anne died 27 December 1870 and is buried at the East Perth Cemetery.1
